Once in a while, fruit crate label art is so beautiful it seems almost wasted on the medium.

This one's also a stunner, and popular enough so that I've seen it reproduced on mousepads, totes, even a trucker hat.

This image is not ephemera; it's a page from an intact midcentury children's book with art by Leonard Weisberg.  But Inflammammal used to do internet business as Malevolent Owls!, so a malevolent owl seemed noteworthy.
