Here's a late-Victorian trade card.  It's probably the oldest thing in my collection, and the bottom left corner came off as I removed it from the scanner.  Goody-great!  Damn it.  Cute kitty though hmm?

This label is not more than 1.5" in height, so let's doff our collective cap, shall we, so the amount of purty that tiny space was made to contain.

And we've got the ephemera-collecting niche of the seed/garden catalog.  They too contained gasp-inducing (I'm only speaking for myself) illustrations of fruit.  These are from 1936.
